The Asus Eee PC 1005HA “Seashell” is the best selling netbook at Amazon as of this writing. It’s not hard to see why – the 1005HA combines outstanding battery life with typical netbook features and a fair price.With the 1005HA, Asus has managed to squeeze out up to 10.5 hours of battery life – amazing for a computer that weighs only 2.8 pounds. This has been combined with a strong design and fairly typical netbook feature set – which includes 1 GB of RAM and a 1.66 Ghz Atom processor.

This Asus netbook also includes a 10.1″ LED backlit screen, which has fast become the netbook standard – large enough to be useful but small enough for a tiny computer. It runs at a 1024×600 resolution. The screen has a medium sized bezel, leaving space for 92% of full size keyboard.

Included with the Eee PC is a 160 GB hard drive, and 10 GB of “Eee storage,” an online storage system – perfect for backing up or accessing remotely.

Filling out the list of standard features for the Eee 1005HA are Wi-Fi 802.11N, Bluetooth V2.1, a 1.3 MP webcam, digital microphone, and small speakers. This laptop also includes the netbook-friendly Windows XP.
