The Sylvania Gnet 13001 is an ultra-budget netbook, nearly breaking the sub $200 price barrier.
For anyone that can accept a tiny screen and a very slow processor, Sylvania has produced a netbook that will surely fit into your budget.
The Gnet 13001 has a 7 inch screen, 30 GB hard drive, and 1 GB of RAM. The budget laptop is powered by a 1.2 GHz Via C7-M processor, and runs the gOS.
We have to be clear, that this laptop impresses in virtually no way other than the price. It is running a lightweight, non Windows OS and still features relatively poor performance. If you are only familiar with Windows PC’s – the proprietary operating system may be a real sticking point. Complimenting the problems is a tiny, 7 inch screen.
Although it is not a great computer, the Sylvania Gnet’s price may make it an excellent choice for those comfortable with a different OS and able to tolerate the slow speed. To see how low the price has fallen, please view the Gnet at Amazon or eBay.
